Tour the GMA
Living the Arts
In partnership with Vidant Cancer Care
Thursday July 25, 2019, 1 – 3 pm
Cancer survivors and their caregiver are encouraged to join this free opportunity to have a curator-led tour of the Greenville Museum of Art and our upcoming exhibition, Greenville, Then and Now. As visitors journey through the works of talented artists from across the state, they have the chance to find joy in the midst of this modern day historical journey of our own community. Make a friend and let art and creativity be your guide for coping.
Monthly Curator-Led Tours
Join us every fourth Thursday from 2:30 – 3:30pm for a tour of the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions by our Assistant Curator of Exhibitions and Collections! These tours are FREE and open to the public. No prior registration required!
Next Monthly Curator-Led tour: Thursday, August 22, 2:30 – 3:30 pm
This event is FREE but prior registration is required. Visit Vidant Cancer Care’s website to register.
Schedule a Tour
The Greenville Museum of Art offers tours to various age groups. Staff or volunteers lead tours that include general to specific discussions of permanent and temporary art exhibitions. The depth of our tours vary depending on the age range of our audience. If interested, children may complete a guided art activity at the end of the tour. Art activities are an additional fee, discussed when the tour is scheduled.
Tours at the GMA are a great way to view the museum and a wonderful opportunity to assist kids in learning outside the classroom.
To request a tour, please call the Museum at 252.758.1946 or email us at [email protected].
