We are excited to announce a new initiative at the Greenville Museum of Art! Artist of the Month invites YOU to submit your artwork to be on display in the Museum. Each month, one local artist will be featured in an exhibition in the West Hallway, located next to the Museum Gift Shop. Artists from Pitt County and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.

Submissions will be grouped by medium and selected at random to ensure equal opportunity for exhibition. Only complete submissions that adhere to the established guidelines will be considered. Submissions that do not meet these requirements will not be eligible for exhibition.

Submission Guidelines

• All artwork must be exhibition-ready. Works on paper must be framed. Framed works and canvases must have appropriate hanging hardware installed.

• Content must be suitable for visitors of all ages. Artwork deemed offensive or inappropriate will not be considered.

• Wall-mounted works must not exceed the designated size limitations.

• Ceramics, sculpture, and other free-standing works must not exceed the designated size limitations.

• All submissions must include the following information: Title, Artist Name, Medium, Date, and Dimensions.

• Artists must submit an artist bio along with their artwork.

• Artwork must be delivered to GMoA the week before exhibiting.

• Artwork must be original.

The application will close once 50 submissions have been received.
