Hosted in partnership with East Carolina University's Recreation Sciences and Sports Management Department, the Greenville Museum of Art is honored to host an inspiring one-night Photovoice Exhibition Pop-Up that amplifies the voices of self-advocates with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD).

Through thematic photographs and personal quotes, self-advocates who participated in photovoice with Dr. Oakes last Fall will share their experiences, perspectives, and ideas for creating more inclusive community recreation opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to engage with powerful stories, learn from lived experiences, and connect with our community in meaningful ways.
