PAPER BEAD JEWELRY-MAKING WORKSHOP

Be sure to register for this kid-friendly workshop! Whether you are creating a gift for Mother’s Day or you enjoy the art of jewelry-making, we have a fun and unique way of creating something unique! This workshop will be led by GMoA Outreach Coordinator Marie Hamra, who specializes in jewelry-making. Hurry and register online, as space is limited. Physical tickets are not needed, and registered participants will check in with the name used to register online.

SESSION 1: SUMMER CAMP AT THE MUSEUM

The Greenville Museum of Art (GMoA) is hosting its second year of Museum Camp this summer between June and August. Each week of Museum Camp will provide a unique and wide arrangement of art activities for your child to explore. Throughout the week, students will rotate through different art galleries at the GMoA, working with different instructors to learn about and create artwork based on the artwork on display. They will work with multiple art mediums, styles, and techniques through projects, games, and other activities. Age Groups: All age groups will be accepted for each session.

  • Ages 6-10

  • Ages 10-13

  • Ages 13-16

  • Volunteers can be 16 and older - please email us with interest

Prices: Full day (9:00am – 4:00pm)

  • $200 per session for members

  • $250 per session for non-members

Half day (9:00am – 12:00pm or 1:00pm – 4:00pm)

  • $125 per session for members

  • $145 per session for non-members

There is a $10.00 per child discount for families enrolling multiple children in Museum Camp.

Space is limited, and registration for each age group will close when we reach capacity. Registration requires consent for the assumption of risk, liability waiver, emergency medical treatment, and photo release forms.

Payments: Payments must be paid in full at registration, though a limited number of payment plans and discounted rates may be available for qualifying families. Requests for discounts or payment plans must be made by calling 252.758.1946 or in person and will require proof of Medicaid, Food Assistance, and/or Health Choice Card. Full refunds will be issued 48 hours before the first day of camp. Partial refunds may be issued following the first day of camp but are subject to executive approval. Guidelines: (Full Day Camp, Full Week) Camps will have scheduled lunch periods from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Parents/Guardians are required to provide lunch and water for their campers. We encourage lunchboxes and ice packs to keep food cold. Summer camp is messy! Students are encouraged to bring a smock, apron, or dress for mess. The Greenville Museum of Art is not responsible for damage to clothing. If anyone within your household is sick or showing signs of being sick, please refrain from attending camp.
